Versatility

SOAP uses a flexible transcription system. This system converts seamlessly to Word, ASCII, RTF, XML, and WordPerfect 5.1 files for importing into other systems. We can also make it Print Only. In addition, we can export work via HL7 and other methods to interface to hospital transcription, charting, and clinical information systems.

The transcription system is HIPAA compliant. There is a tracking mechanism within the software to audit who has touched the job from inception. As mentioned earlier, our medical language specialists are directly connected to our system, and voice and/or data never reside on their computers. We can automatically print and/or fax. We can also set up electronic signature. Other options such as radiologists dictating through a PC connection are available.
